A New Year: September 28th, 2010

It’s a couple of days later . . . nevertheless, Tuesday, September 28th I celebrated my birthday in New York City!

I had my “Annual 29th Birthday Bash” at the lovely restaurant East of Eighth in Manhattan. My wonderful guests were my friends: Christine St. Pierre, Erica Hawkins, Jordan Auslander, Eileen Murphy, the Berg family (Ira, Caroline & Rebekah), my beloved buddy, Mozz Mendez, Joseph Fusco, Jason Brook and Loretta Dalesandro.

After the festivities at the restaurant . . . Christine, Loretta, Mozz, Joseph and I went over to Jordan’s place, which overlooks Chelsea. He lives on the 21st floor with a lovely balcony overlooking Manhattan.

Loretta, Christine and I sat on the balcony and chatted on this beautiful day and evening.

My new friend, Helen Schneider, from Switzerland, was unable to attend as she not feeling well. We made plans to meet tomorrow, before she flies back home to her husband and four children.

110) Divine Power Works Miracles

Jesus served as a spiritual beacon — “I am come a light into the world . . . that whosoever believeth in me should not abide in darkness” (John 12: 46)–and as exemplar of how the power of God works through the human heart and mind. According to the New Testament Gospels, Jesus performed many miracle that seemingly defied the natural laws of the universe. Among other things, he fed 5,000 people with five loaves and two fishes, exorcised demons, showed a mastery over nature by cursing the fig tree that then withered, raised the dead on three occasions, and healed sick people.

The boys, Bridgette and I had the last rehearsal today, before opening.

Mauricio is very nervous, nonetheless, as he hasn’t been on stage in quite some time.  Charles has more recent experience, yet, as an actor, is  also nervous. I’m not worried.

I am very excited . . . felt a little bit like this is my debut. Yes, I’ve had plays up on stage in New York. Short ones in our 48-hour festival, Spontaneous Combustion. But, this is a real program. Thus, a little more exciting, in a way.

I’m looking forward, mostly, to the reaction of the audience to my play. That’s the real test.

During all of this, I have learned . . . I enjoy being on this side of the stage, as a playwright and casting director; and although, I adore acting and singing — I could be happy enough writing and casting and even directing. Bridgette was a wonderful director, nevertheless; and I’m glad I didn’t overwhelm myself with all the tasks.

A special thank you to Mozz Mendez, for introducing me to Bridgette!

A special thank you to Bridgette Boucher for being so good with all of us and directing skills!

My most special thank you’s to my boys, Charles Casano and Mauricio Vanegas, for being at rehearsal and putting their heard and soul into their roles. You are truly my brother’s, I just adore you both!

Of course, all of this is in the playbill, as well!

Onto opening night!

129) Remember That Prosperity Is For Everyone

Attracting wealth into your life does not mean that you are depleting someone else’s reserve. Law of Attraction teachers and practitioners say that the power that brings something to you out of infinite potential can deliver the same thing to another. There is no corresponding loss to infinite potential. When you give from a place of loving kindness, your gift, some say, returns magnified many times over and sometimes in a different form.

Not too long ago, at Manhattan Theatre Source, we began a Wednesday evening Source Writers Group, for those who couldn’t come on Sunday afternoon. Tonight, for the first time, I attended this meeting. My back really killing me and I was hyped up on Tylenol 3.

In the group, Ed Malin read a piece he wrote, it was interesting . . .with flying and ships and San Francisco. As different as it was, it was entertaining and so visual, at least, in my “movie-like” mind.

That said, Christine met me there. Mozz Mendez, gotta love him, wanted us to see his show, Billy Carver And The Children In Mind. He says it’s his last stage play and he will focus on tv writing for a while.

Mozz is right, though, there’s more money in television or film writing.

Christine and I did our usual session and went to hang out and talk at the diner.

Whatever the case, the pain is very bad…my diagnosis is lumbar strain. What the hell did I do?! Not moving very quickly, or well.

Day Ninety-Eight (98): Signs On The Road To Manifestation

Day NinetyEight (98): Sunday, June 6th, 2010

98) How Jesus Demonstrated The Law of Attraction

When Law of Attraction teachers speak of the power of faith, trust, belief, vision, and declaration, they frequently cite Jesus. Three of the New Testament gospels–Matthew, Mark, and Luke–attribute to Jesus the comment that the kingdom of heaven is like the least of all seeds (the mustard seed) that planted grows into the greatest of all herbs, a tree with branches to shelter the birds. Likewise, great accomplishments start with intent and small actions. When you nurture the seeds of divinity within, the Law of Attraction makes possible an unfolding of your spiritual consciousness and brings to you or guides you to the means to help yourself and others.

Today, once again, the Universe showed me signs that I’m going in the right direction . . .

For the past few days, since I received and had a refresher course, from my new book and CD by Louise L. Hay, Experience Your Good Now.

The way Louise L. Hay teaches is with positive affirmations:

The rules are . . .

  1. Positive in nature,

  2. Stated in the now

Thus, I’ve been thinking, feeling and stating positive statements:

  • I love having my own apartment in Manhattan

  • I have $50,000.00 in one lump sum, and it feels fantastic!

  • I am trim and love treating my body well.

  • I have a wonderful loving husband, and beautiful children!

The 2nd one really was proven to me . . . and confirmed.

Went out to get some good food at Subway (the restaurant) and as I walked along 37th Street here in Jackson Heights, NY . . .thinking about own apartment and how $50,000.00 would allow me this freedom.

As I went into a deli, to get a drink (my cheat drink: Dr. Pepper) . . . I felt the urge (inspired action) to buy two lottery tickets. Whether this is the road to my $50,000.00 remains to be seen (Tuesday is the drawing). Anyway, here is the conversation with the clerk:

ME: Is today the Mega Millions day?

CLERK: No, not today . . . Tuesday.

ME: Right, but I can get tickets today?

CLERK: Yes.

ME: You have to be in it to win it! All my numbers are nearly the same. Of course, it only takes one correct ticket. I wouldn’t be sad about four or five numbers correct!

CLERK: Yes. There was a guy in Indiana or something . . . he bought $50,000.00 worth of tickets and didn’t win.

ME: Oh, the guy who won bought what . . . one ticket?

CLERK: About five dollars worth.

ME: Goes to show you!

Anyway, I found it uncanny and very synchronistic that he mentioned EXACTLY $50,000.00; which has been my affirmation.

I trust that the Universe heard me clearly . . . and whether this money comes from the lottery, my writing, my photography or my psychic gifts. I know, it is, indeed, manifesting momentarily.

Then, when I returned home. I decided to post here, on my blog, my Doreen Virtue ArchAngel Michael Oracle Card Readings plus three questions $20.00 special! As I finished posting it and publishing it, I was listening to http://www.hayhouseradio.com and guess who’s show came on at the exact moment it went up? Yes, Doreen Virtue!

She chose the card of the day . . . no, not ArchAngel Michael. Yet, the card: ArchAngel Jophiel seems to relate to prosperity and following instinct! Another sign from the angels and the Universe.

All day . . . wait, for a few weeks now . . . I have been thinking how I need to give up the tour guiding and work completely freelance; doing what I love. Thus, I’ve been getting inspired action thoughts and advice from friends, confirming and/or reminding me of the things I need to do to manifest these goals immediately.

This month, I’d like to pay for a Broadway class and book a vacation to Sedona, AZ with Mozz Mendez and my roommate, Michael Calderon.

Angela Theresa

51) It Is Possible To Access Streams of Divine Power

According to the teachings of Hinduism, five streams of energy emanate from the cosmic Aum. While Aum itself is considered a manifestation of God, omnipresent in the form of Shabda Brahma,  three of its five energy streams are known as Brahma (Creator), Vishnu (Sustainer), and Shiva (Destroyer). Yogis understand how to tap into the streams of Divine Power to achieve certain objectives.

The Gayatri Mantra, perhaps the most sacred of all mantras and considered the primordial mantra by Hindus, was projected into manifestation by the will of God in order to bring about the current cycle of creation, say Hindu religious scholars. The Divine energy known as Brahma then manifested all animate and inanimate objects in the universe.
