2013 in Review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 13,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 5 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Visions: The Case of Soulmates — Do We Have Just One?

Book_TwinFlames001The answer unequivocally is “No! There is not just one!”

A couple of weeks ago, on Facebook, one of my favorite pages: Psychics Universe (http://www.facebook.com/psychicsuniverse) posed the question: Do you believe in Soul Mates?

At the time I made my opinion known, “Yes, and that we have many of them . . . not just one. They can be friends, relatives or lovers.”

Reading all the answers saying yes or those who felt sad as they are, i.e. “still looking” and/or “hoping to find” their one and only soulmate; I had to speak on this.

My answer is correct, my beloved friends:

We have more than one soulmate! We have dozens, even hundreds — in one lifetime. It also helped me to understand why so many of my clients, through the years, continue to suffer from depression, anxiety and anger. In the answers on FB, responses included those speaking of having lost their soulmate — to death, marrying another person, etc.

Well, of course, they’re depressed! They put all their eggs into one basket.

In the case of lovers who married another person . . . Why give all your soul, unconditional and beautiful love to a jerk? Why blame the Universe for giving you a soulmate, whom you chose — and then blame the Universe for taking him or her away? You enjoy living in misery? Does it prove you really loved that person . . . er, well, jerk, who broke your heart? You think if you suffer enough he will come back and say sorry? Let me remind you of two things;

1   He’s the jerk and/or she’s the bitchand that person does NOT deserve your tears or your time.

2   It is his or her loss! YOU ARE AWESOME!

The only one who pays for your sorrow and pain, really is  you for 1) believing we have only one soulmate, and 2) believing you only get one chance at love. Of course, if your love passed away, in time, you can and will heal and see him or her again one day. It doesn’t mean you have spend the rest of your life mourning the death. In fact, their soul is with you all the time and has no jealously. A truly good partner who loves you wants you to be happywhile here on this planet.

If you believe in reincarnation – then, you know, we’ve had many, many lifetimes! Trust me, I know. Most of us incarnated today have had upward of 35 lifetimes on this planet. Which means, no, these so-called soulmates have NOT been in every single one of our lifetimes!

And secondly, no, we do NOT have to live karma from past lives! Once we become aware of our transgressions, we can release a past life debt. Besides, we pretty much made up for it by being born into a human body again. This is hard! We are the bravest souls and we should all thank ourselves for choosing such a difficult mission – to be born again and entrap our blessed soul into these flawed bodies or ours.

Considering we did come here, on contract . . . you didn’t know?

Book_TwinFlames003Yep, when we souls of light (if you are seeking light, you are a truly a good soul. Evil souls do NOT seek enlightenment.); us, of the light, choose to come here.

When we are still in soul form, we get together with our committee, up there. The Spirit Guide (only one for this job) who has agreed to be with us throughout this earthly life [while he or she (the Spirit Guide) remains on the Other Side to guide us. They guide via inspiration, intercepting and making sure, as much as he or she can, that we keep up our contract]. Your committee also included many of your soulmates, yes, many of those who have been part of our previous lives and have yet to be incarnated. At that point, some soulmates may have already incarnated, i.e. our parent or parents, older siblings, etc.

Committees, according to my Spirit Guide, Michael; he tells me, can also consist of Archangels and various other angels, Great Teachers and/or people you admired (i.e. Abraham Lincoln, Beethoven and other greats who have chosen to stay on the Other Side) . . . depending on you. You get the choice!

Now, this is where the Twin Flame comes in…He or she may already incarnated and you are trying to join him or her; depending on what you wish to accomplish in the upcoming life. Or, for most souls, our Twin Flame is right there, with us as we decide to incarnate.

The Twin Flame, for a majority of us incarnated, remains on the Other Side while we – born into these very dynamic, changing and unusual times – can contact him or her from here.

We are more connected via soul than we are if we are both incarnated. Why because, when enlightened (as we are on the Other Side), it is much easier to communicate and understand within our souls. If we are both flesh, well, the painful truth.

If your Twin Flame is incarnated and you actually meet, it will be the most intense, challenging, argumentative, hard, difficult relationship you’ll ever love and hate at the same time. Our Twin challenges us, especially if we are both incarnated. Our true Twin may even be so completely different from us, we have to fight to get together, let alone stay together!SoulMATE

Yes, we are strongly connected, yet the challenge is . . . will we, as a soul, be true to our path. Which is, if our Twin Flame is violent and we are peaceful: Will you stay with him or her? The right answer is “No! You will love them from a distance, as our true nature is love.” We do not forsake our physical safety or self-love for violence or other forms of disrespect.

Sure, it may not be violent. It may be he’s a Republican and you’re a Democrat, and both very active in your party. Can you come to a compromise? Can you agree to disagree? It is a test to your character, either way. And what you choose and the goal of every soul, really, is to practice 1) unconditional love for one another and 2) self-respect, self-love.

You can love someone and not be with them.

Soulmates, now that’s another story. They can come, as noted, in different forms and more than one. Some will arrive as a sister, or best friend, or parent, or lover, and another lover, or a child, etc. If you have a lover, and each and every one you have may be soulmates. It is just, sometimes; they come for a reason, some for a season and, some, yes, for a lifetime.

Nevertheless, if one decides to leave you, or die, or marry someone else … then, please, do not punish yourself for what they choose. Free will, remember. It’s not you, it is truly them. And yes, you can and will love again, if you CHOOSE too. The Universe, God the Angels or whomever can and will bring you another, better and great soulmate.

You are here, in the flesh to LIVE, to experience, to love yourself and to give out love to many, in different ways. Romantic love, anyways, you do know is CONDITIONAL love. If you truly love anyone “unconditionally” – then you want what is for their highest good; even if it means they are not with you.

Now, that is a true Twin Flame! The person who says to you and you to him or her – I love and adore you, yet, I know you must do what you need to do, even if it is without me. I am there, anyway, as our souls are always entwined with our twin. Whether he or she is incarnated, crossed over, 2,000 miles away, next door or sharing your life in some way.

Accolade_PAINTING--001Live in love with yourself. Holding yourself in pain only brings more pain. You do create your own reality. You cannot share what you don’t have. If you do not love yourself, then, there is no way you can love another.

Enjoy the fairy-tales, sure; live in the truth, though. Unrequited love only hurts you in the long run. This life is hard enough. The Universe does not want us to suffer. We are created in love and the Universe is unconditional love. The opposite of love is indifference, not hate. Hate has passion and the person who hates is thinking about you.

God, i.e. The Universe truly has only one emotion as it is energy (not a person). And that energy is only and unchangeable, it is Unconditional Love. We make the decision whether to live in that love or to writhe in misery. We do not need another to love or not love; it is the very soul of who we are . . . we are love. We are one race, too – Human.

To share this life and self-love with another is blessed and wonderful. We can share it with a romantic partner, a child, a parent, a friend, a pet, the human race . . . and if one of those we choose to share that love with leaves us and chooses not to be loving in return. We have every right and a birthright to be happy with another soulmate, or two, or more. We can also choose share our love with our children, our parents, friends, etc. A romantic love is not the end-all or be all. It is a choice, and it can be incredible. Yet, a romantic love, if one is truly enlightened, add to your wonderful life!

My wonderful soulmates – all of you – there’s more of us soulmates to love!

You’ve fought the crowds at Wal-Mart and go to the bus stop with your bags, stressed, wondering if you’ll make it through until the next paycheck. As you approach the bench, you see an envelope with hearts drawn everywhere and a handwritten note reading:

Whoever finds this . . . it’s for you!

Yep, you found it, you are supposed to open it.

Gift4U Enclosed!”

As you pick up your envelope, you turn it over and see:

Open Read Keep! Practice random acts of kindness.”

From early childhood I loved writing letters. Considering my father was a proud postal worker (completely opposite of the disgruntled postal worker title) and from day one taught me how to correctly address an envelope; and the capital of each state. I wrote my first letters very early. A childhood friend told me, as early as three or four years old [I was reading and writing before age 3];you used to send me letters and you wrote stories.

Apparently, they were original stories. It was no surprise when I started school, I would win several writing awards in my life and am a published writer, produced playwright and have professionally written two screenplays.

2013_03-12 Pic001The other thing I became noted for was my lovely handwriting. I remember the day that happened. Up to the beginning of 5th Grade, my printing and beginning cursive was like any other child of my age. I preferred writing on lined paper to make all my letters the right size. Then, I saw my teachers’ handwriting it was gorgeous, a thing of beauty. Her name was Anne Rhodes: She was harsh, as a teacher, grumpy. [Ms. Rhodes was the older sister of the Congressman John J. Rhodes]. I asked her how she made her handwriting so beautiful. Ms. Rhodes told me, “You just do it!” I decided I would, from that day forward; my handwriting was neat and has brought me many compliments through my nearly half century on this planet.

Early on, around the age of 10, I was already an avid Anglophile [A person who is fond of or greatly admires England or Britain]. So, I wrote a letter and addressed it to “Any girl between the ages of 8-12 in London, England”; my father mailed it overseas for me. Some weeks later, I received a letter from a girl a year younger, give or take, than me in Skegness, Lincolnshire, England; Joanna Foreman and I wrote, drew pictures and kept in touch until we were in our 20s. We have never met in person. Joanna is now in the South of France, married, a mother and a newscaster. I have tried to get in touch with her to no avail (so far).

2013_05-01 Pic--001

When I started doing school and community theatre in my hometown of Phoenix, Arizona; my opening night gifts were usually handwritten notes to my other cast memberstelling them how much I enjoyed working with them. I was pen pals with several friends, too. By my mid-20s, though, as we were just getting computers and the basic beginnings of email . . . I got out of the habit of handwriting things . . .  true for many of us.

All my life, for the most part, I have been into spiritual studies, everything from the Golden Rule to my first “self-help” book at the age of 15-years-oldYour Erroneous Zone by Dr.Wayne Dyer. Soon after, I moved onto Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain; which, for many of us, was our first peek at Law of Attraction.

They changed my life.

The Money Train: Pay It Forward — September 2007

Inspired by Oprah Winfrey and hearing her story, a devotee of Law of Attraction (LOA) and thinking about all the miracles I, myself, and others had created in our lives with creative visualization and the new Law of Attraction movementI started my own LOA Meet-Up Group in Queens, New York. For my birthday in 2007 three of us, from my LOA Meet-Up Group passed out $5.00 bills [we each donated $100, split into twenty $5.00 bills]. Taking a cue from the homeless who step onto a car and do a spiel about hard times and needing some money to feed their children, or get a meal, etc. We followed that script with a twist.

CreativeVISUALIZATION--001Hello, I’m sorry to interrupt you. My name is Angela, life has been good to me. And I here to give everyone on this train [subway] $5.00 to say ‘My life is going great’!”

We had some people who looked at us funny or refused the money, others asked if it was real, and some gladly received the gift! One homeless man kissed the $5.00 bill over and over! Another young college student told me, “I don’t have money for f!!#k!” I handed her the $5.00 bill and said, “Now, you buy some f!#k!” We both had a good laugh. It felt rather incredible!

Which brings me to something I read about recently: It was a post on one of my many LOA Facebook groupsAn LOA group. I started my own group – in order to practice the art of tithing (giving):

The Giving Group: Click Here To Join Us

One of great members told us about . . . the Global Love Letter Movement.

I took to it immediately and began writing anonymous, handwritten, love letters to strangers! Brilliant! As someone who has felt left-out, depressed and been teased growing up; it certainly was great when someone would encourage me to keep going.

I read the stories, and the main story about the woman who made the news with hForYOU--004er love letters to strangers. Yes, in my years, and with all those self-help, spiritual and law of attraction books I have read cover to cover, all these years; I had heard stories of people receiving anonymous letters that changed their outlook; i.e. When Carol Burnett was a young girl, she needed $50.00 to attend an acting class. She worked very hard to earn the money to no avail. Then, she came home one day and found an anonymous envelope in her mailbox; it contained a note and $50.00 for her class.

This was how her career started! The note merely said it was for her class – the exact amount – and stated the belief that Carol would be successful. Carol Burnett never found out who gave her that gift. It could not have been her mother or family, as they did not have the money.

=============================================================================

CAROL BURNETT’S STORY OF LOA

BURNETT: No, I never made up my mind — I never said that to myself, I just wasn’t that interested in, you know — and I always felt there was something that was going to happen. I always — I visualized myself in certain places. And, you know, we were poor.

But I always knew something good was going to happen. And one time I visualized myself going to UCLA, which I wanted to do very badly. And we didn’t have the tuition for it, you know. And I had the grades. And the tuition, get this, was $43.

MORGAN: Is that what it was?

BURNETT: Yes. And we were on welfare and so couldn’t do that. And my grandmother wanted me to go to some Woodberry College for secretaries so I could nab the boss.

(LAUGHTER)

BURNETT: You know? To her it was get a rich man.

MORGAN: Yes.

BURNETT: And I said, no, I know I’m going to get — I’m going to get to go to UCLA. And we lived in this one-room apartment off of Hollywood Boulevard, and our door opened into the lobby and I could see the pigeon-hole letter boxes. And this one — and it was my little chore to run out and get the letters if there was one in our slot.

And I — this one morning I came out and saw this letter and then I got it and it was addressed to me. With a $0.03 stamp on it, but it hadn’t been mailed, hadn’t been canceled. An address, typewritten, I opened it up and out came a $50 bill.

To this day, I don’t know where that came from.

MORGAN: Really?

BURNETT: We didn’t have the money.

MORGAN: What an extraordinary story.

BURNETT: Yes. It just happened. And that was — that’s how I got to UCLA.

=============================================================================

And even when my group gave out the $5.00 bills . . . our intention was to pay it forward, to give to the world to affirm our belief in prosperity.

Thus, when I was reminded of how wonderful it is to give to others with unconditional love, just, if nothing else, to make someone’s day! I wrote some anonymous love letters. I wrote what I felt I would want to hear, what would encourage me. Sure, I borrowed some words from those who had already started this movement, and wrote many of my own. As I heard what many of the love letters were doing – where they would leave these notes, etc. – I went out and left my envelopes on subway seats, bus seats, in trees and shrubs, in bicycle baskets. I did this all around my home – at the time – in Union City, NJ.MoreLoveLetters_003

Often it impressed me how I found interesting places to put the letters – i.e. in the card slot at a little store on Bergenline Street; the window of one the Jitney vans; on the table inside the post office and among the toiletries in a Duane Reade in Port Authority, New York.

BKLYN 2013-06-05 Ltr--001I vowed, in February 2013, to write, at least, one love letter a day for the entire year. Having fallen behind, I now write about seven to fourteen in batches. Now, they are placed in my new neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York and heading into Manhattan and often in Manhattan. Wherever I’m traveling.

My goal is place them without being seen . . . hard in the crowded streets of New York. Still, I manage to do it.

There were a couple of very special moments for me.

In one of my first batches, I was on the A Train returning from a friend’s place in Washington Heights [left several letters in that area, too]. A woman came onto the crowded train and took the only vacant seat beside me. She looked upset, sad and in pain (emotional). My urge was to give her a letter – she, obviously needed some cheering up or an encouraging word. Too embarrassed to just hand it to her [she might think I’m weird], when she was getting off the train – and I still had a few stops to go; as she stood up, I handed her one of my envelopes and said, “I was told to give this to you!”

The woman took the letter, smiled a bit and said “Thank you.NJ2013_03-01 Pic015

Also, since February, in several of the letters, to affirm prosperity, I’ve slipped in $1.00 bills. Just a little gift for them; as we all know the little thrill it is finding a dollar on the ground. I have started, also, printing half of the letters – and placing them near middle schools with $1.00 in them – just in case a child finds them and cannot read cursive yet! Also, with  young children, $1.00 is considered an incredible treasure to find!

Finally, I really wanted to see how it affected the finder and reader of these letters. One time, with my friend, Fredy — again, on the A Train going toward Manhattan, from Washington Heights. I place one of the envelopes across from us on the vacant subway car.

As the subway filled up with rushing people, we witnessed this:

A middle-aged man, carrying a backpack, went to sit on the vacant seat with our envelope there, reading: FOR YOU, YES YOU!

NJ2013_03-28 Pic009He, with a sort of scowl on his face coming into the train, took on a slight smile as he picked up the envelope. Fredy and I tried not to stare, but watched him.

He read the envelope, turned it over a few times, readying “Practice more random acts of kindness”, etc. He carefully opens the envelope – trying not to rip the flap with my words and drawn little hearts – he did a good job.

He unfolded the heart-shaped paper and began reading my lovely cursive; the scowl now turned to a smile and he seemed moved. He stared at the letter a few seconds after reading, turned it over again. He carefully folded it back, as if it was delicate and important to him, and put it back in the envelope. He held tightly to the letter. Then, a few minutes later, he opened it again and re-read it! This time with that happy smile of a person who really needed to hear/see those words. He was moved and it nearly made me cry.

Once again returning it carefully to its envelope, he exited the train, carefully making sure he had the love letter for him!

My friends, it feels good, even just knowing you are making someone’s day. You may change a life or encourage someone to pursue their dreams. You may be a catalyst to someone in the world who needed exactly your words of encouragement, at that exact moment. Everything happens for a reason.2013_06-05 Brooklyn--PIC 034

Go ahead; check out my page or the pages below . . . start spreading love to the world, one stranger at a time. You may be the very miracle someone needs. You may save a life, change a life, for the better, comfort a bullied child or adult, help someone get through another hard day.

The truth is clear. The more you give, the more that comes to you. It is the law of nature. What you give out comes back to you tenfold. Oprah has and is giving away millions of dollars, all the time. She is blessed with success all the time. Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Bill Gates are “givers” – money, time and more. They are all millionaires or billionaires.

Whatever you believe, the Universe has blessed these givers with financial security, loving families and joy.

Unlocking Your Psychic Gifts: Protection

Chapter One: Protection

When one begins any journey, she must take all possible precautions she can; to protect herself from any disaster seen, unseen or probable. You go hiking in the Arizona Mountains; you should know to take several jugs of water. A few for your car, several for you and any other living creature with you; be it friends, family or your Golden Retriever, Spencer. If, like me, you grew up in Arizona, you also learn to bring along a couple of bags of Doritos. Should you dehydrate (i.e. heatstroke), in order to replace water, you need to eat something salty and dry (i.e. Saltines, too) and then drink water so you do not immediately pee it out. Basic desert survival as taught in Arizona schools when I was growing up.

Every year, tourists visit Arizona, forget the water, remember the beer, and are later found dead or near-dead on one of the hidden paths in the unforgiving Sonora Desert.

Thus, I will start with protection as I guide you on the journey of discovering and/or rediscovering your psychic and mediumistic gifts. For, like the desert, there are some basic equipment and rules for your safest adventure.

Here is what you’ll need:

  • Paper
  • Pencil or other writing utensil
  • A comfortable place to sit, write or study.

Click For Spiritual Growth … At Your Own Pace

Optional, but helpful:

  • Incense (i.e. stick or cones)
  • Incense Holder
  • A CD Player/Computer
  • New Age CD or Natural Sound CD
  • An open-mind

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please know that, without protection, the worst case scenario, in psychic work will be headaches, emotional imbalance and minor physical discomfort.

As long as you’re reading this book, seeking to better and enhance your life, you will not, cannot be possessed by dis-incarnate entities or spirits or ghosts. Those are the machinations of movies, drug addicts, the mentally ill and religious groups trying to keep you away from learning more in this New Age.

The only other danger will be the messages you receive in readings. Without some sort of protection technique, for clear and highest level messages, you may see and attract negative and lower energy messages. They make everyone depressed or drained.

Thus, take a few minutes and do one or both of these techniques.

The White Light Technique

This is probably the most widely known one and the fastest way to protect oneself before any sort of spiritual endeavors.

Go to that comfortable place, light your incense; sage is excellent for this. Any incense which resonates for you will do. You can light a candle or several. In this case white candles are the best. Shut out or off all distractions (cell phones, television set), play a natural sounds or music only CD. Go sit in a comfortable position.

Close your eyes.

Imagine a pure white brilliant light emanating from above – the highest realm. Some call it Heaven or the Universe, God, Source or Creator; as long as you know, imagine and feel it as the highest, most positive source of illumination.

See this white light of the highest realm wash down into the top of your head and light up your internal organs, bloodstream and surround your entire body head to toe. Then you are filled with this all loving, unconditionally loving white light emanating around you and throughout you, like a force field of positive loving highest energy; and this light will be with you throughout your endeavors.  You are truly psychically protected and will now attract only positive energies.

You can also do this quickly by saying “white light” and seeing (in your mind’s eye), the light washing over you.

I often use it when I am walking alone and/or feel uncomfortable. It comforts me to know I am surrounded by the highest good, attracting only higher level energies. At times, when I’ve felt extremely unsafe, I will say, “White light surrounds me, God is with me!”

The Velvet Curtain of Protection

This is another one that I utilize and is excellent when you feel unsafe. Whether you feel the danger is

from lower level energies or actual living human beings who may wish to do harm. This is excellent after doing the White Light Technique as it provides a stronger, impenetrable force field around your positive light.

This is also a very important technique to use when you are opening up your psychic and medium gifts. Many strange things will and usually happen and the Velvet Curtain of Protection will help you keep this under some control. You will be happy I shared this with you!

This can be done in a relaxed way, similar to The White Light Technique, or you can do this the minute you feel in danger or uncomfortable. You can bring it from above or imagine your angels or guides draping a purple or black velvet curtain around you. Some see as a hooded cloak and others see like a beautiful shower curtain of velvet. It must shield your entire body, head to toe, and just carry it with you. It is the purple or black velvet curtain of invisibility. Strangers and lower energy entities cannot see you underneath this force field of safety, thus, will not see you [as a victim to their crime].

WARNINGS

This is what you should expect as you begin opening up to your psychic gifts.

You will attract many things that will be positive, wonderful and good and, as you learn more, things that could be uncomfortable or negative.

Oftentimes, it will only be uncomfortable or negative because it is unknown or has been forgotten. Early in your life you had gifts, we all are born with them, and along the way we are told they are bad, evil or dangerous.

You will begin to see things, or hear things or dream things that, due to them being new or different, may frighten or overwhelm you.

The only other thing I will warn against.

If the visions, voices or feelings are extremely negative [i.e. calling you nasty names or visions of horrible accidents to you or your loved one’s], or give you an urge/feeling to harm yourself or others – you must stop immediately.

Those can be signs of either — lower negative entities and you didn’t do any protection, or a sign of a mental or medical illness. If the negativity persists, you must see a mental or medical health professional, or both.

I must include this warning as I had a friend, not my student, who started out getting some positive visions. Then, when they did not come to pass, as she had envisioned, or in the time she envisioned them . . . she became very angry and agitated. The friend accused the person in the future vision (a living person) of torturing her, teasing her and leading her on. Eventually, my friend felt this person, whom she was not personally acquainted with, owed her an apology and a relationship. She became paranoid, delusional and had to be hospitalized; and everything became very negative in her mind.

Thus, any sort of extremely negative emotions, particularly toward yourself [the friend would also become suicidal] or others – especially one’s that weren’t there before – must be addressed with someone in the mental/medical health area’s.

Religious Zealots

Many organized religions will label certain gifts as evil and offer you an express ticket to Hell. As much as they preach “judge not”, zealots continue to judge, based on their interpretation, of your ability to be with Source.

Let me remind you, regarding religious groups that are closed to gifts from God [which is what they are] and label it as the work of Satan or demons. THIS IS NO SUCH THING AS DEMONS OR SATAN! Yes, Hitler came close to being Satan Incarnate, nevertheless, he was merely a very, very dark lower energy.

Anyone, like you, or me, who seek to grow, teach, guide and help and heal others and ourselves are “of the light”. We are not dark or even gray entities. We are one with Source.

Dark entities dissipate upon physical death and do not keep their soul identity [which, in a way is Hell], or are born immediately to situations they do not choose [which is truly Hell]. Us, of the light, keep our soul consciousness upon physical death, and once we return to the Other Side we can choose to guide others [still in physical life], learn new trades by the Masters or choose to come into physical life again and choose that life.

Also, as you expand, your energy shines! This sends a beacon which attracts religious groups to try to recruit you, or “save you”. I have personally seen wonderful, gifted souls close off their beautiful mind and gifts and become involved with these religions. They start to separate from friends and family, who do not want to follow the very fundamental beliefs. I have seen these happy, expanding souls become closed, afraid and judgmental just because of the recruitment.

Luckily, today, as more and more of us are opening to our psychic and healing gifts we have churches that accept and even nurture our expansion! Unity Church is one and even in rural Lancaster, Pennsylvania, I had the pleasure to attend The Metaphysical Church. In Los Angeles there’s Agape’; which, I hear is wonderful. Sylvia Browne’s Novus Spiritus is another. Many of these churches include healers and psychics as members!

Remember, your gifts are powerful and psychic vampires (i.e. zealots) feel that to possess you and your gifts helps them gain power. This is why you must be aware of who you speak to of your gifts and beliefs.

Psycho’s

This can be hand in hand with zealots. Yet, if you are not protecting yourself properly, or if you open up at the wrong place and time (crowded streets), without focus . . . you, again, send out a beacon to all who see such things. Psycho’s see these beacons and will come at you or to you.

Ghosts and Visions

As your gifts expand, shadows or sightings of lights, people, angels can come into you awareness.

During the second or third class I ever taught, one of my students saw a cat run by. I do not have cats nor any pets. There were no pets in the meeting place.

Later, we discovered that the previous tenant had a cat or two die in the apartment where we had the class. My student’s gifts were expanding and she, for the first time, was physically seeing a spirit!

Your dreams will become more psychic or include visions and premonitions. Depending on your stronger gifts, you can feel, hear or have visions of things or voices other’s, in the very same room, will not see, feel or hear.

Have no fear, as long as you’ve been doing protection techniques. If you are not ready to see, hear or feel something, you can ask for it to come another way. Nevertheless, I encourage you to explore these signs.

Saving Your Soul

This really goes with the religious zealots. Your soul is of the light. You are safe. You are saved. You came into this life in the light, of the light.

Send Me An Angel: Seeking Faith

My religion is a religion of sharing, not of following. It is a religion of LOVE.

Age 10

When I was ten years old, I was learning about the real meaning of faith. Our little A-frame church had a tapestry above the pulpit, in bold purple letters, stating that the “greatest virtue of them all” was faith.

I asked my mother, father and my Sunday School teacher to explain to me exactly what faith meant.

The answer was clear; to know, deep in your heart, that your belief is true.

All my life, up to that point, my upbringing told me to believe in God, Christ and Heaven. As far as I could remember, I had never actually seen or heard any one of them. Sure, I was beginning to understand that a beautiful day was God, my mother’s beautiful singing was God and Jesus was always with me. I had no proof. Nothing tangible.

As for Heaven . . . what did I know of this? It was in the sky and everything there; including my grandparents, are happy, safe and live in bliss. I wasn’t sure, exactly, what that meant, though.

West Congregational Church

Every night, of course, I said my prayers and according to our minister, I could pray for whatever I wanted. I asked for a sign. A sign to let me know, without doubt, that Jesus was really there. That He was really true and not just in my imagination.

You see, I had prayed for quite a few things and many of them didn’t come to me. I prayed a lot, too. Also, as my mother taught me, I was grateful for all the things I did have or received. Still, if God could do everything, and I had faith, how come not everything happened as I prayed?

What I wanted most, though, was true faith. I wanted so much to believe. And I was finding that very difficult because I couldn’t see God, Jesus or even Heaven. I saw the sky, no doubt, but I didn’t see my grandparents or my Uncle Pete who was the first person I ever knew to die. He died when I was seven years old. One night, about a year after he died, Mom and I saw Uncle Pete and his truck on the side of the road. We both saw him clearly and he waved at us! When we turned around and went back, there was no truck and no Uncle Pete. Thus, to my mind, he wasn’t in Heaven; he was there, in Phoenix, AZ, waving at us!

Mom N' Me (Age 7)

My nightly ritual continued, asking God and Jesus for a sign. Sometimes I would ask them for a specific sign and I often got it. For example, I’d admonish, “If you’re really there, make my curtains move!” And they did!

Nevertheless, I wanted something a little more obvious, unmistakable. Perhaps, the air conditioner was making my curtains move? I prayed.

One Wednesday afternoon, Mom and I went to the church so she could rehearse her solo for the next Sunday. The organist, Marie, was there before we arrived and the three of us moved to the front pew. My mother and Marie, at the organ, began the rehearsal. I was drawing pictures on a sketch pad, and periodically looking up to the large brown cross hovering over the altar above the pulpit.

It was a good time to talk to God and repeat my prayer for a sign.

About that time, a huge breeze swept up the aisle between the pews and whipped my hair into my face. An impossibility as we were far into the church, and the only doors were too far way to create such a huge gush of air.

Nevertheless, I thought Mom and Marie had felt it too. I figured they must’ve noticed; it was so strong! I also thought the minister had come in and somehow created the wind tunnel.

As I, alone, turned to see where the wind came from, at the back pew I saw an angel!!!

She, at least that’s what I assumed, was floating several inches above the ground; looking up at the cross and going towards it. She was completely white from head to toe with a flowing gown and glistening white all around her. Not really wings, more like a gossamer aura encompassing her whole being. In her clasped hands, she held a candle with a flickering pure white flame.

I was staring, in awe, at her. I felt paralyzed. Inside my mind, my mother warned me about doubting saying it wasn’t right. Part of me thought God was punishing me by scaring me so much.

As that thought crossed my mind, though, the gentle and beautiful angel looked at me, smiled at me with a nod of her head and the message I heard in the Christmas story came into my whole body. “Be not afraid, my child.”

Immediately, I could move again and a tremendous feeling of love and peace came over me. My angel continued on her journey toward the cross and disappeared just above the pulpit.

I put my head against my mother’s comforting shoulder and cried . . . for happiness. I now had complete faith. I knew I was not alone and am protected and guided.

It took a while to tell my mother the whole story as I was in a blissful place for a day or two. When I told her about my angel, she believed me. It made me happy as I had often been scolded for having too big of an “imagination” and often buzzing out in school to daydream. It was incredible to be believed and accepted for my gifts, when that wasn’t always the case.

My mother or Marie did not see or feel anything. My mother, to this day, tells me that the angel was there for me and that is why only I was able to see her. Yet, she still believes me!

A blessing indeed!

Even Optimists Get Depressed

DISCLAIMER: This is about a recent incident, mostly and other past situations.

The incident: The night before I had to be up at 6:00am, with a job I had planned for over a month. A friend/client texted. “Can you do a reading, right now?”

I texted back, honestly, and said, “Not tonight. Tomorrow, later in the day — maybe. I have to get to bed early for a morning gig.”

This person does pay, nevertheless, with no sleep; I would mess up the job in the morning. And in my intuitive business, I prefer to make an appointment.  This friend/client texted back, “I will never use your service again!” and unfriended me on Facebook!

I don’t recall saying that I am here at the beck and call to my friends/client. Yes, I have done same day readings; it is not my regular thing to do. Secondly, to unfriend me and refuse to utilize my service again, over this, how unkind, rude and very unloving (for a friend).

Apparently, not a friend at all.

Of course, through the years, there’s the friends who feel my gift is something I should give them full benefit of – all hours of the day or night, for two or four hours – without compensating me.

NOTE: Nevertheless, I do have wonderful friends who pay me regularly for readings – as they can and what they can – when they ask me to utilize my gifts for them.

Still, even optimists get depressed. We really do . . . yet, when we do [get depressed], we get chastised for it.

You see, us who encourage and fix everyone else are not truly allowed to . . . well, feel down. I’m sure it’s because, if we’re down, then, the world must be ending.

Reality check, we hit bottom, too. Sure, 85% of the time, we are the cheerleader for you, ourselves and the Universe. Then, after weeks, months or even years of being that gracious, fun-loving and joyful person – we hit a jagged rock or two or a hundred.

Through our tutelage and/or our encouragement you get to:

1) pursue your dreams,

2) win, win, win from all our free advice

Then, you feel showering us with “I love you” is a fair reward for the two-hour phone chat – during non-free minute days – or when we could be looking for a job.

What’s love got to do with it? I’d rather have cash . . . to be honest. Money may or may not buy happiness – still, I certainly feel much better when I have electric, food, transportation and can pay for my phone, rent, etc. Thus, having money lowers my blood pressure, and stops panic attacks. And certainly that makes me happier.

Somehow, one thing is forgotten – we, the cockeyed optimists – have to give up our dream career for a “real job”. We are asked to do the right thing, give up everything we ever wanted. All our giving of our free advice (to you) pays no income, and you do not offer or have excuses.

I love youdoesn’t pay rent, unfortunately. We can get downright depressed! Can you blame us?

To add salt on the wound – you will give us advice, i.e. “don’t post that you need help on Facebook. It looks unprofessional . . .

And no . . . psychics do NOT know everything, i.e. lottery numbers, where you are, your name or if we will get clients. Our gift may be highly accurate, yet, there are limitations.

Then, when we don’t express our need, guess what happens in our life? NOTHING! We don’t get money, we don’t get help and we fall deeper into depression, debt, high blood pressure, sleepless night and dis-ease.

Then, you tell usyou’re different orcheer up”. Pay me, I will cheer up! You have to seek help to get it. The Lord helps those who help themselves. Being quiet, sitting in what’s left of our room, begets no actual help. We’re hungry. We have bill collectors calling hourly . . . we get told “no” at every corner for jobs . . . and then, you text or call and want immediate attention! Wow! Because we are home, unable to go out — we are supposed to stop everything and help you through an emotional crisis, for no compensation.

Of course, you have a job and do not know what it is like to have the electric company threatening to turn off your electric . . . still, we, the optimist, the person with a business that you, or others, consider “unimportant” and not really worth actual money . . . we are supposed to jump to cater to you the second you have an issue.

Sorry, my time is worth money. Yes, you are a friend. You are not being my friend, though, when you feel it is my job to jump when you say jump. Strangely, I recall, awhile back when you said, “If you ever need anything, just ask.”

And I remember when I did need help – like now – you aretoo busyor youhave bills”. Yes, you have bills and an income. I don’t [have an income] unless you compensate me for my time. Your bank account is down to $1,000 until your next paycheck. Wow!

My account is down to .05 cents (no exaggeration). Closed my savings account a few months ago, since it cost $3.00 a month and I often had $2.00 or less in it. My .05 cents won’t go up

until you, or someone decides my service is worth a few bucks.

What I’m saying is be real, my friends. I just had to vent . . .

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming of optimistic encouragement, love and light!

Psychic/Medium: What We Do

This new thing on twitter — with the pictures of “What I Really Do“, prompted me to create one for Psychic/Medium’s. I have been called a sinner, a witch . . . accused of being a Satanist, charlatan, a scammer and also — an angel, a psychologist (I am not), a friend, a blessing. Thus, here’s a little fun about us:

Tarot Cards, Tears, Friendship & Spam

Just to make everyone aware . . .

For Readings, Click Here

According to my stats, the most looked up term, for my blog is “tarot cards” . . . second, at least, in the last quarter, has been “tears” followed by “friendship“. Also, lately, I’ve been getting so much spam. Do the spammers not know I can moderate and choose “permanently delete” all they send me?

Speaking of tarot cards: On Thursday evening, I was at Manhattan Theatre Sourcesupposedly to perform a piece from Spontaneous Combustion, again. Unfortunately, it was too well organized; someone told us to arrive at 5:00pm. Then, we were FYI

FYI Click Here

We  were informed we were going up before 9:00pm. Too many hours for my scene partner to hang around.

Luckily, I had brought my tarot cards, my Archangel Michael and Archangel Oracle cards with me — just in case I could garner some money. I left the house with only $9.00 in the bank, and about $7.00 in my wallet. Scary to be in NYC with that very little money.

Since my scene partner really did need to get out of there — we chose to cancel the performance and I offered to do tarot and/or Archangel card readings for a suggested donation of $10.00 — and split it down the half for Manhattan Theatre Source and myself.

Everyone who came up, and it wasn’t many, four (4) or five (5) wanted “tarot”. They were all impressedas most clients arewith my accuracy, my readings, etc. Yet, most left $1.00 or $2.00. Also, a client or two, on-line thought they, too, could get free readings or donate to get a full one.

Sorry, it’s rude to ask that — this is how I make a living, to eat, pay rent, buy toiletries. When I’m on radio shows, I’m happy to do a mini-reading for free; but any other time, it’s not.

Well, I hope everyone continues to read this blog — even if it doesn’t involve tarot cards, tears, or friendship. At the Source, I made $26.00 and came home with $13.00 of it, of course.

Love, Light & Laughter,

God’s Unconditional Love And Its Conditions

VISIONS: A Psychic/Medium Views on Organized Religion

By Angela Theresa Egic

I believe in the Bible . . . I believe it was written by men who had low opinions of women (most of them), nearly 100 years after Jesus walked around and said incredible things . . . I believe the stories were worded by the authors, to express their bias opinion, most of the time. In short, how they interpreted the words of a man some 100-years passed on and his words handed down from mouth to mouth to mouth. I know God/Source didn’t write it. Sure it’s in-spired! BUT, so is every book written before, during or after the time of the many scrolls of the Bible!

And, yes, there are incredible things in the Bible (and other books) — which probably should be heeded, are comforting and are good rules to live by. Yet, the Bible still allows that if a woman marries and she is found to not be a virgin, she can be stoned to death. A man, on the other hand, by Bible rules, has all the rights.

I also like to quote and sometimes try to live by the words and examples of Dr. Wayne Dyer, Doreen Virtue, Goethe, Shakespeare, some of the men in the Bible, Sylvia Browne and Julia Cameron, my mother, my father. Number one, though, I live by the beliefs and values of myself. I have valid points.

Nevertheless, I do not agree with every single word that came from my mother, Dr. Wayne Dyer or any of my guru’s. They, too, have opinions of which I do not agree. Many I do.

I have strong feelings about religion, the dogma – I enjoy some ritual(s) and/or rites developed by the churches and/or other spiritual practices and religions; some are valid for me and some is just not my cup of tea; because I can think. Much of it is ridiculous to an intelligent mind.

As much as I believe in a Higher Power, which is not some man in the sky…I know we are part of it; in fact, we are it — along with the plants, animals, soul strength and every other living source or being on the earth, and beyond the earth. Yes, we are G.O.D.; we are of the energy that surrounds the Universe.

One of my guru’s gave me the greatest explanation:

G.O.D., the Universe, Source is a beautiful cloud; then, when we incarnate, we are the drops of rain and pieces of cloud that come down here to experience physical life. We are the bravest souls! Truly, living a life incarnate where there is pain, horror, judgment and illness is a brave adventure for any soul to take on!

The only true judgment, of course, is when we crossover and we, our self, review our lifetime. I often say that hell is living here, on earth, and having to put up with the proselytizing groups trying to save my soul! If heaven is filled with these pests, I’d rather be in hell with the fun people!

My relatives, strangers and friends – of the dogmatic sects of Christianity; including my own mother – have verbally attacked me, argued and mostly judged me: I suspect, they feel they must “spread the Gospel” according to their standard and make me comply. Otherwise, they have not done their job to raise me, teach me and guide me to be a docile follower such as they are!

No, thank you!

Why I’m always amazed at the closed-minded fundamentalist’s attitudes of my very family? I’ve seen those very beliefs drive people to depression, suicide, mental illness and unhappy lives. When I was a Sunday School teacher, I became a very depressed, anorexic mess who nearly died at the age of 20-years-old!

If it’s a sin to be who you really are – faggot, dyke, single, slutty, childless, and psychic, actor, musician, and artist – then, let me be the sinner! As long as I can be who I am, then, fuck anyone who wants to tell me different. As long as my actions do not break the laws of the lands [murder, embezzlement, rape, robbery, abuse]; well, who are you, or them, to judge?

As the song in the musical, Rent tells us, “It’s between God and me!”

The proselytizing assholes in the tunnel at Port Authority, spouting their fire and brimstone, how we are all such vile sinners; drawings of people with bandages on every limb, walking with crutches to illustrate how not following “their way” leads to dis-ease, abuse and plague upon your very body – make me want to beat some sense into them! Their promises are not very inviting … if this “God” they’re selling me is going to do that to me for not following, or questioning; well, he’s a fucking bully!!! I don’t give in to bully’s!

Now, my proselytizing relatives . . . they’re of the sect that leaves no room for psychic gifts, those who speak to the dead or angels, at least, those of us who hear them! Yes, I have relatives who are exceptions to the rule; yet, we probably fit on one hand. Most of my relatives are “God-fearing”. I have never, nor ever will, understand being afraid of an unconditional loving source. If He, it or they love us unconditionally, why should we “fear” them! I fear living human beings with knives, guns and an agenda of war, forcing change and judging us who are different. Even my relatives who think it is their job to “save me.” When such zealous types get too much into religion, and they feel one is a sinner, they often feel justified in destroying the sinner’s physical body to save their soul.

My relatives may not murder me, yet, similar to the zealots who shoot doctors who perform abortions – claiming it was God who told them they could because they are “saving lives”, when really they took a life that had been here for 30 to 80-years and not a few weeks in the womb – Bible-thumpers — who are usually men – and think, once again, it is their right to put their finger, or other parts, in my vagina and in those of all other women; I know I want no part of such closed-minded, single-minded, stupid nonsense.     My relatives, and others, seem to want to kill my joy, murder my spirituality and call it sin – when it hurt no human or animal, it brings joy and guidance to millions. My gifts and my beliefs are for all…unconditional, safe and non-judgmental. We don’t proselytize, force or threaten you with fire, brimstone, stoning, hatred, anger for not complying with our ways. We guide, love you and let you choose your path. We don’t sick Satan on you or dis-ease. We enlighten, we guide if asked. Unlike those who want to call me “mislead” or “sinner” or “wrong” or “damned.”

So be it, then, my cousins and aunts, and uncles – then, all right I am damned. I will be in hell with all the Broadway stars, the gifted healers, psychics, mediums; pets – the homosexuals, the transgendered, the party-singles, the sexually fun, all the entertainers – bound to be fun!

In case, it wasn’t clear, hell doesn’t exist, either. This punishment my family fears doesn’t exist, anyway, not like they talk. Hell is here, a hell we chose – brave souls being inside a human body that can feel pain, emotion, physical and mental pain.

Death is not punishment, it is freedom! The soul is free, once again. It’s beautiful! I speak from experience, too! I had a near-death experience when I was 15-years-old. It is not, at all, what religious groups think it is – a punishment; it is a gift to return to our true essence.

We all go there! At least, if we do not purposely hurt others and are generally doing the best we know. For those who do purposely hurt others – as in murderers, rapists, embezzlers and perhaps those trying to force their beliefs on us – they do get judged, they judge themselves; with a group of souls who want to help.

Enlightened souls, us who are true to who we are in this life, get choices – we can come back here, if we choose or learn more. That’s heaven, having a choice. Hell is not having a choice of whether to come back here – to live in a human body; lower souls, who hurt others on purpose, have to come back. They get no choice. Which, all right…yes. Hell.

To my relatives, friends and those who wish to judge me. Keep it to yourself! Say no prayers for me, as I don’t need those types of prayers.

If you pray for me . . . you are welcome to pray for me to have abundance, love, light and joy in my life. Pray for me and all others to be able to freely be who we are, all the time, without judgment, without hatred, without prejudice from you or others.

Otherwise, say no prayers for me. My soul is saved, by me . . . and the angels, guides, saints, the Gods, Buddha, Allah, Jesus, the Powers-That-Be, Source, those who have passed-on, unconditional love and self-love (confidence).

As for what I am: I am spiritual, I am Christian, I am Atheist, I am Buddhist, , I am Jewish, I am Islamic, I am Muslim, I am Gay, I am Straight, I am Transgendered, I am Woman, I am Man, I am me, I am, I am God, I am Jesus, I am the Chosen One, I am a Psychic, I am a Medium, I am alone, I am you, I am all that is, I am the wind, I am the water, I am them, I am us, I am an actor, I am a singer, I am the animals . . . and I am all of that and none of those!

I just am!
